Bow River Report July 31 ‘06
July 31, 2006 on 11:35 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsRiver levels have continued to drop over the last couple of weeks, and weeds are starting to show up in the river. Fishing is still very good, although dry fly fishing has been somewhat inconsistant as there were few rising fish today. Nymphing can be frustrating in slower water due to the weeds. All methods taking fish. Weather reports look very good for the next week.
Here’s a few shots of the day…

July 31, 2006 on 11:17 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsWell, a big corporate float today with the fine folks at Enbridge. We floated the section from Exshaw to Seebe Dam. The river conditions are excellent, and it was a great day to be in the mountains.
River conditions in both the lower and upper Bow are absolutely prime! Please feel free to contact us if you ahve any questions or comments, or if you are interested in a float trip down the mighty Bow. We’d love to hear form you.
Bow River Fishing Report July 8th ‘06
July 9, 2006 on 4:06 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsHot today…hot yesterday! Wow, a eight hour float and not one single cloud…whew! Slow with the relentless heat, evening a much better choice when its this hot. Suprisingly little surface activity. Water conditions are good and the river is dropping steadily, Highwood now a relative trickle. Still lotsa stones. Tight lines…

Bow River Fishing Report July 5th 2006
July 6, 2006 on 11:24 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIt’s a really good time to think about fishing the lower Bow River. Both water and weather conditions are now ideal for this time of year, and the fish are co-operating.
The truth is that nymphs, streamers and dries are all working, and the fishing is Great!
I think I’ll just let a few photos do the talking.
